Scooby Doo Movie Velma Pictures
When Scooby-Doo: The Movie was released back in 2002 is starred some big names, including Sarah Michelle Gellar, Freddie Prinze Junior and Linda Cardellini - with the talking dog himself an animated cartoon.
While the special effects certainly look dated now, Scooby-Doo remains an incredibly popular and well-loved franchise, with the original cartoon series recently named number five in the top cartoons of all time.
After a less successful follow up film, Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed, further sequels were canned, but the original film has become a cult classic despite unfavourable reviews.
But after 19 years, what are the cast of the Scooby-Doo movie doing now?
Some have faded into obscurity or pursued other passion projects, one has enjoyed a stellar acting career - and two have been married since the film was released.

Sarah Michelle Gellar played Daphne opposite Freddie Prinze Jr's Fred, and just as the pair flirt in the film, they were romantic in real life.
Freddie and Sarah's love story started in 1997 on the set of their film I Know What You Did Last Summer.
They got engaged in April 2001 and got hitched in Mexico in September 2002, and defying the odds of showbiz marriages, they are still together now and share a daughter named Charlotte, born in 2009 and a son named Rocky, born in 2012.
Sarah once spilled her secrets on a lasting relationship to US Weekly.
"It takes work to have a good friendship," said Sarah.

"So to have a successful relationship, whether it's marriage, whether it's friendship, whether it's business, you have to put the time, if you want to see the results."
She added: "To keep a relationship, you have to have stuff that's private and things that are your own and between the two of you."
On their 15th wedding anniversary in 2017, Sarah shared a sweet photo montage featuring one throwback photo from every year of their marriage.
"My husband thinks I'm crazy, but I'm not the one who married me," she cheekily captioned the post.

In 2019, she appeared in the series finale of The Big Bang Theory, in 2020, joined the main voice cast of Netflix and Kevin Smith's Masters of the Universe: Revelation in the role of Teela.

"We were just friends. That's one of the reasons I think our relationship has always been so good," he told E! News.
"She knew what kind of guy I was. She knew what my morals were, what my priorities were and vice versa. We already kind of knew all the faults in the other person."
And their relationship actually started as a friendship, with Freddie giving Sarah lifts to and from the set because she could not drive.
"She didn't have a driver's license. She didn't know how to drive," he told US Weekly.

"It was an hour drive just to get to the gym, and when we transported the film down to South Park, she had no way to get up there. So, I started driving her, and that's when her and I became friends.
"And we just would talk about life and stuff like that, and we had completely different philosophies on just about everything.
"Because she was a born and raised New Yorker and I was a born and raised L.A. kid, and we just looked at everything like night and day."

"And so, we started this weekly barbecue thing at her house, and me and my cousins would come over and cook food for her and her friends.
"And then we'd make sure everybody ate, and that was kind of how our friendship began."
With their marriage standing the test of time, Freddie is actually owed a hefty payout.

Warner Bros. Pictures)Howard Stern once bet Freddie $1million his marriage to Sarah would not last, when he had just got engaged.
"Oh, it absolutely will last!" said a visibly uncomfortable Freddie.
"You think you're gonna know how you feel at 35? You're gonna be a completely different dude," Howard insisted.
"And she will be a completely different woman, but that's alright," replied Freddie.
Acting wise, Freddie went on to star in the sequel, Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed, as well as Freddie, Boston Legal, 24 and Delgo.
More recently, he's appeared in Star Wars Rebels, and this year he joined the reboot of Punky Brewster on Peacock, playing the title character's ex-husband.
In 2014, he underwent spinal surgery to correct a spinal disc issue, and wore a neck brace afterwards, admitting he needed to "learn to walk again".
"#KeepItPlayful Learnin to walk again is like learning jiu-jitsu — 1 technique at a time," he wrote on Twitter, later adding to concerned fans: "Guys, I'm totally fine."
He has dedicated his life to raising his kids, explaining: "When my daughter was born that was pretty much it for me, and I became a full-time father. It's not a job. It's what I love to do."
He also posted a photo on Instagram last of two new additions to the family - gorgeous akita puppies who will be sure to be keeping his hands full.
And proving they really are living the dream, both Sarah and Freddie revealed on their Instagram accounts they recently took a lengthy trip to Hawaii - bliss!
